Hendersons provides specialist health and safety and public safety consultancy for events, festivals and other crowded, publicly accessible environments.  This work is distinct from occupational and construction health & safety and focuses on managing risk in live, public‑facing settings where crowd behaviour, temporary infrastructure, environmental conditions and external stakeholders all influence safety outcomes.

Our experience includes supporting organisers and venue operators with event safety planning, crowd risk considerations, and proportionate control measures that reflect how events actually operate on the ground.  We understand the practical realities of temporary sites, peak‑time pressures and shared responsibility across multiple parties.

Where applicable, we support organisations in understanding and preparing for their responsibilities under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law).  This includes helping duty holders apply a terrorism‑specific lens proportionately, without defaulting to unrealistic or undeliverable measures.
